What you're selling, in one read.

defend-id protects a small business and the people who work there, for one monthly subscription. The business gets compliance tools, employee security training, breach incident response and legal support. Every employee gets fully managed identity theft recovery.

"When a small business has a data incident, or an employee's identity is stolen, someone has to deal with it. Without a plan, that's the owner or HR. defend-id gives you the tools to stay compliant, experts to call when an incident happens, and a dedicated Recovery Advocate who takes over the cleanup when an employee's identity is stolen."

Step 6 · Say it right

What you say becomes a promise.

Use the approved language. It protects the client, you and defend-id.

The short version

  • Use only the 2026 materials on this page. Don't edit them or create your own versions.
  • Don't promise breach prevention, guaranteed compliance, or a setup or recovery timeline.
  • Pricing is fixed. Partners don't have authority to change rates.
  • Don't quote statistics that aren't in these materials.
  • Write the company name as defend-id: lowercase, with the hyphen.
